Insightory.com is a platform for management professionals, academicians and graduate business students to:

- Create an "expertise brand" for themselves and their organizations
- Network with peers who have similar professional interests
Our goal is to create the largest and best business-knowledge community on the web. In doing so, we will create rich interaction opportunities for "providers" as well as "seekers" of knowledge.
We are committed to keeping user-submitted content free. If you submit a document to the site, rest assured that we won't turn around and try to sell if off to someone. Further, we are committed to keeping this site very professional. We are the kind of site you can freely browse in your office!
Insightory.com was created in October 2007 and is currently in alpha-release mode. We are a self-funded private organization, based in The Woodlands, TX (greater Houston area). We love hearing from all the talented business professionals around the world, so please do send us any thoughts, ideas or suggestions for improving the site. Management Team and Advisors
Avneet Jolly
Avneet is the Founder and CEO of Insightory Inc. His role covers all aspects of the company - including technology, content, marketing, staffing, finance and administration. His current focus is on launching our beta website and increasing awareness of Insightory.
Avneet has a Management and HR Consulting background. Until July 2007, he was the Practice Leader for Global Sourcing (Offshoring) at Hewitt Associates. In this role, he was responsible for Hewitt's Offshoring Consulting business in North America, focusing on helping major corporations with sourcing strategy, location selection, process migration and change management. He was a frequent speaker on the topic of global sourcing. Prior to this role, he was a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at Hewitt, working on a wide range of projects including organization design & development, staffing models and HR program design.
Avneet has experience in a variety of industries, including information technology, energy, manufacturing, financial services and healthcare. He has worked with companies of all sizes, ranging from small 10-person start-ups to the largest companies (including three of the "Fortune 10") in U.S., Europe and Asia. He holds an MBA from XLRI and a BA in Economics from Osmania University (both in India).
Joao Prado Maia
Joao is Insightory's Technology Leader. He is responsible for planning, designing and overseeing the implementation of all technologies related to insightory.com, as well as the support infrastructure. His current focus is to implement all the functionality required for a full beta version, while enhancing the user experience.
Joao has over 10 years' experience in deploying Open Source technologies to build web applications. He has particular strength in PHP and MySQL development and usability design.
Joao is currently the Lead Software Developer and Usability Architect at Alert Logic, where he leads a team of software developers, and is responsible for interfacing with senior management on new product design, rewriting software for existing products, enhancing user experience, and also creating development standards and processes. He has prior experience with MySQL AB, Lexicon Genetics, Kefta Inc and Ready Set Net. He created, designed and implemented Eventum, an issue tracking system that was acquired by MySQL AB and released under the GNU General Public License.
Joao is a recognized leader in the global PHP community. He is the Organizer of the Houston PHP Users Group. A website he created and still oversees - PHPBrasil.com - is regarded as the primary website for PHP developers in Brazil, with over 50,000 members. He has written several articles for the O'Reilly Network, as well as a book on the Smarty template engine.
Rupesh Kapoor
Rupesh is an active advisor to Insightory on a variety of business and technology issues. He has extensive experience with technology-based start-ups as well as mature companies in the Bay Area. He currently works as a Technical Lead in Google's Web Search and Infrastructure Group.
Rupesh was the founding member of two internet start-ups, including WhoWhere, which was a developer of web sites for people search, web mail (MailCity, MailExcite etc.) and personal publishing (Angelfire). WhoWhere was acquired by the Lycos search engine in 1998. Rupesh was also the co-founder and CTO of PledgeBay, where he led the operations and technology ramp-up until the dramatic industry and economic shifts of 2001 forced a sudden closure. Later, Rupesh was the Software Architect and Engineering Director at Informatica, and Software Architect at Yahoo.
Rupesh holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology (in Delhi, India). He holds a patent in the field of search technologies.
