Patrick Kitano brings more than 25 years of entrepreneurial experience building businesses within four dynamic industries: real estate, technology, investment banking and media. At Domus Consulting Group, he is advising corporations on managing their brands' online presence, developing social media strategies, building social networks, and creating and executing innovative marketing initiatives.
Patrick started his career after graduating from Columbia University's Business School within the film and entertainment industry as a corporate development specialist. He then worked eight years in New York City and Tokyo as an investment banker, culminating as the Head of US Investment Banking for Japanese securities firm Kankaku Securities. He left Wall Street in 1998 to manage the business development and financing activities at internet technology companies, and innovative real estate settlement services companies.
He is the author of industry standard blog Transparent Real Estate, providing a strategic overview of the industry, social media applications and new business models. He also started Media Transparent to chronicle the convergence of social media with the mainstream media.
