Seek your Peak
Get your mojo from Maslow
By Marieke SchoenmakerMaslow is about self-actualization
The desire to become everything you're capable of becomingSelf-actualization is at the top of the pyramid
a place where you have transient momentsTransients moments do have a name
we call them our Peak ExperiencesA Peak Experience is that feeling
the feeling of being in your flowA feeling when everything
seems to fit together perfectlyMoments of ecstasy which
cannot be bought, guaranteed or even soughtBut you can set up conditions
so that Peak Experiences are more likelyI hear you thinking
pretty fascinating stuffBut how can I apply this
to the motivational truths that define our relationships
in the workplaceYour reactions on Spirit at Work made me aware of
redefining successSuccess as something more intangible
more meaningfulMeaningful
The idea that we can transform ourselves
and the world through the work we doNot focus on what is
but what could beIn leading that discussion
we use the Transformation Pyramid
