Proportionate headcount by Level/ Grade (leverage)
Employee footprint in High vs Low-Cost locations
Spans & Layers for different functions
Relative ratios for Engineering, Product, Sales & Support
Staffing ratios for G&A functions (Finance, HR, and IT)
Our goal is to share broad ranges and how to think about these benchmarks vs. implying that there is one right answer for all software companies.
